Synopsis


Marie, a student at the Opera Ballet School, falls in love with Henrik on a boat trip.  But their idyllic summer vacation comes to a sudden end when Henrik dies from injuries suffered in a diving accident.  Marie drifts into an affair with her old uncle, Erland. Ten years later, Marie, bordering on the edge of her career as a professional dancer, ponders on the mistakes she has made in life as a result of Henrik's traumatic death.
